Yes, I have been highlighting while reading the materials. I have a very simple method. I use different colours for: i) general rules/principles; 2) authorities; 3) what I believe is interesting information; 4) more important information that I intuitively believe can/will be an exam question. I'm not saying this is optimal -- and would advise you to use any system that works better for you -- but I really don't think highlighting is that important anyways.  For instance, I wouldn't be too concerned about "over-highlighting". It's not like you're going to have to make concise notes or summaries of the information afterwards. For myself, I just highlight because I feel like it keeps me more engaged while reading.

We have similar stats. My stats are 3.7/162 and I would say our softs are around the same level (some work experience plus several volunteer experiences).  But here's how my cycle went: A at Osgoode and Western in December, did not hear back from Queen's and UofT (withdrew), and I didn't apply to Ottawa. As for your course load concern, I also did something like that and did part-time in my last year because I already had enough credits. These factors could negatively impact your chances for UofT. The workload you have per semester is part of their selection criteria. For Oz, I don't think it's a big of a concern as it would be for UofT. We kinda have a similar journey of applying to law school (also an applicant that's a couple years shy of being a mature student), send me a chat if you have more questions. If you stats stay the same and you don't retake: Assuming you write a cohesive narrative tying your experiences together, I'd say you have great chances at Queen's, Western, and Ottawa. Coinflip for Osgoode. You have competitive stats for Osgoode though, just gotta nail the PS. Take a look at the accepted 2024 thread on the Osgoode section of the forum, you'll see that people around your combination of stats have gotten in. It's not posted here in the forum but in the subreddit people with 3.7+/160+ shared that they were waitlisted/rejected by Oz.   As for your UofT chances, yeah - you would definitely need to re-take the LSAT to have strong chances at UofT. Maybe get to around their median LSAT (around 167). For Osgoode, I think 164+ paired with your cGPA solidifies your chances.

Accepted late March just posting now. 153 LSAT cGPA: 3.35 B2: 3.67 I would say top tier LORs, PS, and ECs.  

Accepted April 24! cGPA: 3.66 B2: 3.76 LSAT 164

Got the same summer waitlist email 158 LSAT 3.7 GPA 

Waitlisted today at 1pm ADT.   161 LSAT and 3.5/4.3 gpa with drops. The email asked if I wanted to be included on the “summer waitlist” not sure if that’s new phrasing or if that’s what it’s said for everyone thus far. Just thought I’d share if it was relevant.
